Old, Downtown Spokane

Dear Reader,
   It has only been one year of blogging and already this brain is running out of ideas on how to begin a post. Good grief! It shouldn't be so difficult as long as one's English teacher is not breathing down their neck. (Note to self: Remember that virtually everyone who reads your work plays as English teacher for the simple reason that you are homeschooled. :)
    Notwithstanding, YHVH blessed us with a fine weekend. After an unexpected visit from a Kalispel friend over Shabbat (his name was Kermit, & was such an amiable, fun gentleman, see photo's below) us ladies said farewell to the men and packed out for Washington. When we finally arrived, we felt like green apples among plump oranges in the bigger city setting of Spokane. Civilization! Talk about "strangers in a new land." Take my word for it! We country-bumpkins looked out of style, out of the loop, but by no means out of sorts when the lovely Angela met us at that fancy hotel. What can I say? It was a blast! And even though it was X-mas day, we still found fun things to do around old-downtown Spokane....

     Betz, Hanok, Yosi, Ani, me, and Mr Kermit...

Old Buildings...

And a few snapshots of us...

Taxi cabs at the mall! {Angela and I thought that since we are short people we would fit.. Not so much!}

Ani helps Ang get ready for her day as a flight attendant.

Fun at the hotel...

oops... where is Betz?? We need more pictures of her!

...and let us not forget Jerusalem.
