One Word Resolution... 2013

I'm at a loss for words....
   This last year whizzed by- the year of DILIGENCE. For those of you who recall my new years resolution in 2012, it was unmistakably the perfect word for such a year of growth! My goal was to:

"finish everything that I started, to diligently guard Torah, to be constant in my love, to be patient with those around me, keep forgiving, keep praying, keep hoping,..."

(note that was BEFORE I realized what a MAZE i was in for!)
In many ways, indeed, YHVH helped me to finish, to be patient, to stick with it. But I think that failure was an important lesson for this year, too. And like many of us, He revealed to me that perfection does not lie in my ability alone. Only with His strength

all is possible.

Now 2013 picked us up, and now we're speeding down the fast lane again. Whew! Excuse me! Um... how far, exactly, to the next rest area??? Well no matter. Its the journey that teaches us the most, right?

Allow me to give credit where it is due, before announcing the word for 2013. Besides my loving Father, who inspires all beauty, I want to thank just a FEW of my friends:

{{{{Bryan, Rebecka, Anna Maria, Charlie, Randakov, Betz, Emily & Hadassah, mom and dad Wheeler, and my wonderful family}}}}

 for your silent examples, your encouraging advice, your colorful YOUNESS that inspired me to worship YHVH as He created me, for your wisdom, for NEVER letting me quit (under ANY circumstance) and for helping me hold up my hands during the really.... really hard times. Thank you. It was actually all of you guys who inspired my new word...

chaste.

"that they may teach the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sober, chaste {blameless, humble, clean, happy, innocent, trusting, faithful, true} workers at home, good, subject to their own husbands that the WORD OF ELOHIM might not be blasphemed."

~Titus 2 (as we all know)
