He said...

For your information, I am still alive, and I openly admit that my blog has indeed suffered a level of neglect as busy times, fires, fees, packing, moving, GIANT ANTS, wedding dress alterations and The Hunger Games have invaded on the moments that quickly  fill up my clock. So sorry! But for those of you who are wondering, I am diligently counting my many, many blessings! Just moved into my new home, where Miss Latvia (see blog post) has employed me as her full-time care-giver until Sukkot. Soon, I will develop a new blog page entitled "Great Aunt March's Companion", (you wouldn't get it unless you've read Louisa May Alcott's "Little Women") in which you will see stories, lessons, and pictures from my new life as her companion. But today is Shabbat, and time doesn't allow for trifle blogging when there's sleeping to be done during the few winks of repose that she allows, (at 86 you'd think there would be little she would run around doing, but we are mistaken when we assume that once you pass retirement age your activity level completely retires as well.)

Until then, enjoy this song that makes me smile through these different times!

And let us not forget Jerusalem, nor those residents of Colorado Springs who lost their homes, this week. Thanks to Abba that it didn't happen to my family's house.
